David Alfi, DDS, MD
Board-Certified Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon
Dr. David Alfi is a dual-degree oral and maxillofacial surgeon whose career has combined surgical practice, academic medicine, research, and the development of contemporary approaches to orthognathic and craniomaxillofacial care.
He completed both his dental and medical education at Columbia University, followed by general surgery and oral and maxillofacial surgery training at NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Medical Center. His subsequent work has included academic and hospital leadership roles, surgical education, research, and clinical practice.

Steven Halepas, DMD, MD
Board-Certified Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon
Dr. Steven Halepas is a dual-degree oral and maxillofacial surgeon with additional fellowship training in facial cosmetic surgery. His training spans oral and maxillofacial surgery, general surgery, anesthesia, reconstructive surgery, and facial cosmetic procedures.
He earned his dental degree from the University of Connecticut and his medical degree from Columbia University before completing oral and maxillofacial surgery training at NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia. He subsequently completed an American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery fellowship focused on advanced facial cosmetic surgery.

Dr. AJ Salcines is a dual-degree oral and maxillofacial surgeon with advanced fellowship training in orthognathic surgery. His education includes dental training at Harvard University and medical and surgical training at Columbia University and NewYork-Presbyterian.
After completing residency and serving as chief resident, Dr. Salcines pursued an additional fellowship in advanced orthognathic surgery at the Texas Medical Center, with training in contemporary jaw-surgery planning and airway-related surgical care.

Dr. Juan Pablo Porte is an oral and maxillofacial surgeon whose surgical training includes advanced experience in orthognathic surgery and facial trauma. He earned his dental degree in Monterrey, Mexico, before completing oral and maxillofacial surgery residency and a Master of Science in Dentistry at the University of Puerto Rico.
Following residency, Dr. Porte completed additional fellowship training in orthognathic surgery at the Texas Medical Center. His professional work also includes academic and hospital affiliations within the Texas Medical Center.

Francisco Carrillo, DDS, MSD

Dr. Francisco Carrillo is an oral and maxillofacial surgeon with advanced fellowship training in both orthognathic surgery and facial cosmetic surgery. His education and surgical training span Mexico, Puerto Rico, and advanced fellowship programs focused on facial skeletal and cosmetic surgery.
In addition to clinical practice, Dr. Carrillo holds an academic appointment at Baylor College of Medicine and participates in hospital-based surgical care within the Texas Medical Center. His work also includes surgical education and fellowship training.
